Simple & Easy

Simple & easy w/no frill. It’s great! I wish it was compatible w/Ipad so I could access on my laptop or ipad.

Great diary app

Why are there so few journalling apps in the app store (for the iMac anyway)? I wanted something basic to record daily thoughts and after searching the app store, decided to spend the $ on this one. What a great purchase, I am so happy with this. All I’ve been looking for is a basic diary app to write in that could be passcode protected. I don’t need fancy stuff, and I certainly don’t want to have to learn how to use an app when all I want to do is write. This app worked out perfectly. It offers the ability to add mulitple entries per day that can be customized with color-coded tags. I appreciate the customizable font/color/size. So overall, I would say that it is definitely worth it. I am very happy with my puchase.

PASSWORD???

I CANT FIGURE OUT HOW TO PUT A PASSWORD ON IT!!!

Basic, but useful. Here’s how to set the passcode (in case you were wondering).

I just downloaded this today, so haven’t used it much yet. It is a simple/basic diary app that seems useful but without a lot of bells and whistles. Like a previous reviewer, I had difficulty figuring out how to set a passcode or password at first. Unfortunately the tech support button on this page only took me to a website written in Chinese so I couldn’t read it or figure out how to get help. Fortunately I was able to figure it out on my own. For others who may experience this difficulty you can set a passcode to make your journal private by first clicking “MyDiary2” on the bar at the top of your screen (next to the Apple). From the dropdown menu select “preferences” and it will give you an opportunity to set your passcode (4-digit number only). Hope this helps!

Basic, perfect.

Just downloaded and began using. Its exactly what I was looking for, a basic password-protected journal. You can make more than one entry a day, edit previous entries. You can change the date on the entry, which I did with my first, as I wanted to begin with an entry on Thanksgiving. Just click on the date and type in the month/day or year you want. Love the color coding so I can sort by dreams, events, ideas, etc.

RIP OFF

So this started off being a good app - as other review stated it’s just a basic journal. The problem is that I have forgotten the bloody passcode I set and there is no reset feature - not only that but when I click on the contact/support link it takes me to a page that no longer exists. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DON’T BUY THIS!!! If you do then don’t forget your passcode otherwise you’re screwed.

Password… really?

This is most ridiculous feature I have ever had the displeasure in working with. No password reset. Really? And you call yourselves coders? I am the first to complain about this, and won’t be the last until someone fixes it. And, a broken link to a mythical support tem is not a great confidence builder. Come on Apple, thought you checked what you publish better than that.

Didn’t look like the picture at all.

I downloaded this because there was an option to sync it to my mac and the app for my mac looks nothing like the picture, it doesnt have any of these features at all and I am not able to sync it. Paid for it for nothing! Oh, and of course the my diary support link doesn’t work.

How do change my password numbers?

I have not been able to open this app. I insert my password and the app tells me thats the wrong passcode (which its not) and that I should try again. I dont think the developers are working on an update to the app. Please HELP! There is also not support services for this app. ugh.

Pretty Cool

I have not usually been able to find a cheap diary thing on my MAC but this perfect, It is not fancy or anything but it at least lets you keep your secrets safe with it. I would get it because A it is Cheap B it works and C I would just get it :)
